Before your appointment

How it works

How an appointment works

  1. Request. Send the document type, number of signers, location, and preferred time.
  2. Confirm. Jim confirms availability, ID requirements, and any travel fee before the appointment.
  3. Signing. Each signer’s identity is verified and recorded in the notary journal, then documents are signed and notarized.
  4. Return. For loan signings, documents are returned to escrow or the lender as instructed.

California law sets the maximum fee a notary may charge per notarized signature. Travel fees are separate and are agreed to in advance.
